Quick review - The Tattooist of Auschwitz

Quick review - The Tattooist of Auschwitz

January 27 is International Holocaust Rememberance Day. Less than one hundred years ago, unspeakable crimes against humanity were committed on a massive scale. While it is impossible to imagine the events that occurred during the Holocaust, it is through stories that we keep these memories alive and prevent it from happening again. This book is inspired by a true story- about a Jewish man who was put to work as a tattooist in Auschwitz who falls in love and struggles to help keep his fellow prisoners alive. This story is both heartbreaking and gripping, one that will stick with you long after the pages have run out.
